This Standard pertains to centrifugal, pendulum, pneumatic and other types of broadcast spreaders designed for dry granular product application while operating on common crop production field surfaces. Portions of the test procedures outlined herein are suitable for evaluating spread uniformity and spread width; however, additional tests not covered in this Standard are needed to completely evaluate the performance of gravity spreaders.
